Remember those charts, the kind with business and scientific formula symbols, either superscript or subscript wherever they go? Some of them can be fitted in the graphing charts with ease.
Few methods can be used to insert them in, including putting them into legend info as text. Here are the ways.
The first method is to use superscript chiropractors. As you type in cm², the 2 is not type
from the keyboard and then formatted, so you can hold the “ALT” key and on the keyboard
number pad type 0178. Similarly, 0179 will produce cm³.
The other method is to use “Insert Symbol” dialog from the the tab in Microsoft Office 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013. You will find characters for the other characters or digits which are accessible from there. Alternatively, from the Home tab, in the Font group, click Superscript or Subscript.
Here is a handpicked method using shortcuts, by selecting the text that you want to format as Superscript or Subscript.
Do one of the following:
Press “CTRL+SHIFT+=” for Superscript or press “CTRL+=” for Subscript.
