WhatTheFont is a free web service that lets you to find the text that has the closest matches in their database to recognize the font used in an image. The website can support most of the common use image formats.
To get optimal results, make sure your letters aren’t touching, have a distinct shape in the font, text should be as horizontal as possible, and the height of the logo should be about 100 pixels.
