How to Create a Favicon .ico for Your Blog?

Do you like to have your own icon displayed on the browser address bar and browser tabs when your visitors view your web pages? Well, that’s a “Favicon” (favorites icon). It is also known as a website icon, shortcut icon, url icon, or bookmark icon normally comes in 16×16 pixel square icon associated with a particular website or webblog.


Now it’s easy to create icons and marquees for your web pages with FavIcon from Pics.

How to get a 16 x 16 pixel small Favicon?
1. Visit FavIcon from Pics
2. Select a picture, logo or other graphic for the “Source Image”
3. Click “Generate FavIcon.ico” (Favicon Generator)
4. Install Favicon to your website.


For Blogger.com users:
How to install Favicon in Blogger Blogspot?
Host your generated .ico format Favicon file at Free Image Hosting sites or at Google Sites.
Paste the code before the < /head > as shown in the picture below.


For WordPress.com users:
