There are many different software that let you to hide a folder on your Windows XP or Vista PC. Here is the easiest way to do that in few seconds. This is how it works.
For example the name of the folder I would like to hide is ‘mydoc’. To hide the folder icon, first right click on your folder and select ‘Properties’, then choose ‘Customize’.
Roll over there to find some blank icons. Select any one of them and click OK.
Now, your folder icon should now have disappeared, but it is not fully disappeared.
To hide the name box right click on the folder icon you want to hide and press ‘rename’. Make sure you activate the Numlock. Press Alt and 0160 then press Enter.
See what you get. Can you hide your folder? TADA.
