Google Chrome is a web browser developed by Google released as a beta version for Microsoft Windows early on September 2, 2008 in 43 languages currently that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier. The official release was on December 11, 2008.
The browser name was derived from the graphical user interface frame, or “chrome”, of web browsers.
