After you have made your pizza order from Domino Pizza in Australia, this DRU robot will deliver pizza to your door. This robot was developed by Domino’s and titled the Domino’s robotic unit.

It’s just a simple autonomous delivery vehicle with obstacle avoidance capabilities. It can sense obstacle of 1.5 metres far in ahead using its built in sensor.

The robot structure contains two compartments, one keeps drinks cool, the other keeps food hot.

It can carry out deliveries within 20 kilometres from the store. Also trialing the service in New Zealand, their robots has successfully made a delivery. Domino’s are working on taking this service in their store worldwide.
