Filename Not Showing in Windows XP Thumbnail View

There are still many users using Windows XP, but there are a lot of hidden tips that are unknown to its users. Sometimes, they will need to search for the answer for those unknown features in Windows XP when the problems come. One day, I found that the names of files in a folder of Windows XP when viewing them as thumbnails was missing.

Here is what happened to my Windows XP files:

The names of all the files inside the folder aren’t shown.


The problem can be fixed by holding the SHIFT key click on the Thumbnails option from the View button in the Windows XP folder, then you will no longer missing the filename again.

    Aha! This happened to me today and I almost panicked, thinking I had lost my mind. Any idea what causes the filenames to disappear?
