Flying Cars by German startup, Lilium Aviation

Posted by: admin , July 10, 2018

Using 100% renewable electric power, this aircraft company is about to make flying cars a reality. German startup, Lilium Aviation accomplished the first ever vertical take off and landing of a personal-use electric vehicle.

The aircraft is powered by 36 jets engines mounted on its 10-meter long wind. Most importantly, this vehicle is like a helicopter in that it doesn’t require a runway, but it can reach speeds similar to a jet. It seats 2 but eventually Lilium wants to build 5 passenger version of the jet.

Soon, the 5 seater would function like Uber, but for flying cars. Lilium’s Co-founder, Patrick Nathen, insists the service would be affordable for everyone in future.
