Posted by: JackSimz , March 8, 2010

The main source where anti-virus can infect your PC is through the Internet from your browser such as Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, etc. This is normal especially when you visited some dangerous websites which you may not know the risks. So, as an Internet user, you really need to take precautions while surfing the World Wide Webs.

Anti-virus can be useful to a PC, but it will consume a lot of resources. As a result, your PC will be slowed down. Sometimes, you may found nasty virus, rogue software, trojan, malware, or spyware which blocked all your anti-virus program from functioning. In serious case, those dangerous viruses will also be effective in Windows safe mode, even though you have finished cleaning your infected PC.

But, you still love to visit those unknown harmful websites to get for something that is not available on the normal sites. Also, you may not know which one is a potentially harmful site. Then, what else can be done to make sure you are safe?

Sanboxie is a better choice both in terms of system resources and money, you may consider using it. Its ‘Sandbox’ will act as a strong cover to protect your system. When a virus is downloaded and activated while you surf the net using your favorite browser, it is actually in the sandbox. As you close or delete the sandbox, the virus will also be deleted and stopped from spreading through your system.
