In Windows XP, probably there is no mention of “Delete” when you right click on your desktop’s Recycle Bin. But in Windows Vista there is it. This will be a problem when yourself, or somebody has accidentally deleted the Recycle Bin icon on your desktop.
Now, your Recycle Bin is missing, or has gone into another Recycle Bin?
Rather than blaming each other who did it, let us focus on how to recover back the deleted Recycle Bin, not the shortcut of the Bin, but the original Recycle Bin icon that contains your rubbish files!
Step by Step Instructions to find a your deleted Recycle Bin in Windows Vista:
1) Go to your “Control Panel”
2) Find and Double click on “Personalization”
3) Select “Change desktop icons” on the top left side.
4) On Desktop Icon Settings, place a tick on “Recycle Bin” and click “Apply”.
Done! Now, get back to your Desktop and you’ll find your Recycle Bin icon there.
