These days, roughly all computing job is changing from our PC to the World Wide Web. Even there is a web service can help you to uncompress .ZIP and .RAR archive format files on the fly when your computer does not have any compression software installed!
Today, I came across a website known as Wobzip. It is a free web service which allows you to uncompress archive format files online. To uncompress files from your PC, just upload your archive file to its server and then “Wozip” to get all the files in the archive.

If your file is password protected, then enter your password before you “Wobzip”. The site also lets you to uncompress files from a URL. Presently, file formats supported for this service are 7z, ZIP, GZIP, BZIP2, TAR, RAR, CAB, ISO, ARJ, LZHCHM, Z, CPIO, RPM, DEB and NSIS.
According to the site, each file you upload to uncompress is encoded with a hash, so you can be assured that the site will not open, view or distribute your files. There is a limit file sizes for this service but it can be a handy service if your archive files are small in size.

I used Wobzip because I received a .RAR file and wanted to unzip it. But since I don’t have on my laptop any unzip tool for .RAR and that I don’t have rights to install anything on it. I found it very usefull.
