Sometimes, when you copy some contents from the Internet website and paste them directly into your Microsoft Word file, you may find that there are some hyperlinks, which you may want to remove them so that they are not click able by others.
Then, how can you remove those unwanted hyper links?
Here few methods you can use.
Method 1:
If you are using Windows, you can open up a Notepad and paste those contents there as Notepad will only read plain text and not hyperlinks; Notepad will also filter to remove styles of your contents. Copy the contents from notepad again, and paste them into your Word file.
Method 2:
This method is a basic method that most people will use. In your Word document, right click on any hyperlinks and choose “Remove Hyperlink“. However, it is very time consuming mainly if you have a very long article that has a lot of hyperlinks.
Method 3:
Another method you can apply is by using shortcut keys on your Microsoft Word document. After you have already pasted the contents into the Word file, use the keys “Ctrl + A” on your keyboard to select all, and then use the shortcut keys “Ctrl + Shift + F9”, then a magic will remove all the hyperlinks in your Word document.
